Carbon barrels are made to order and due to overwhelming order volumes, our lead-time goal is now APPROX. 6-8 +/- weeks dependent on volume of orders in production queue.

BARREL CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS.

If you want to make changes to your order it can be done BUT once the order has been made, any changes are subject to $50 fee per change.

Cancellations after we are cutting steel are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

 

We DO NOT recommend 1/2-28 muzzle threads on barrels with a bore size larger than 6.5mm.

1/2-28 muzzle threads ONLY available on Alpine hunter barrels.

**Due to the design and manufacturing process, the muzzle CANNOT be threaded afterwards.**

Different Shank dimensions are available ONLY for the Carbon Hunter Profile.

DO NOT oven cure coated/painted carbon barrels beyond 250℉

Description

Just like all of our Stainless barrels, the core portion of our carbon fiber blanks is made of the highest quality German 416R stainless. They are double stress relieved, honed on a Sunnen 1600 barrel hone to within .0001″ from end to end AND hand lapped.

These barrels feature a proprietary manufacturing process, where the carbon portion of the barrel is bonded to the stainless core. This gives a very low matrix content, for a more rigid and durable barrel.

1/2-28 muzzle threads ONLY available on Alpine hunter barrels.
