Description
We would like to introduce you to our newest line of actions.
When IBI took over Ultimatum Precision, we immediately started acquiring the machines needed to make all of our actions. Wire EDM’d raceways?  Yes sir!
Every HMB action features:
Wire EDM’d bolt raceway.
Convex bolt face(to match a concave chamber face) for easy feeding.
Notched feed ramp for those that like to load LONG.
A 2 lug, Remington 700 footprint action
Hard anodized 20 MOA rail
Pinned recoil lug (included) .
Lefty versions are being programmed as we speak but NOT available just yet. Coming soon!
The stainless steel ULTIMATUM HMB actions come in several finishes!
#1. DLC /TiN coated
Every HMB that is DLC/TiN coated has a super slick, drag free cycle. DLC stands for diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating. It is a PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition)
Often it is used on cutting tools to add wear resistance and to reduce friction between mechanical parts.
Our DLC’d HMB action raceways are coated in Titanium Nitride(TiN) so when you open the bolt you will see a gold raceway.
TiN is also very hard.
#2. Polished Stainless
HMB’s are available in polished stainless steel with black highlights!
The complete bolts are still DLC coated black, the rail is black and the recoil lug is also black.
It looks very sharp!
And we have one Chromoly Steel version available also!
#3. Nitrided Chromoly Steel
We wanted to offer a nitrided version BUT salt nitriding and stainless don’t play well together. SO we decided to do some in Chromoly steel as well.
These ones are very nice as well for those that prefer a deep black finish.

What’s the differences between the Hunter and Tactical???
Ryan Steacy –
The hunter is a bit lighter! The guts of it all are the same 😉
